News brief: Little Airplane, SeaWorld prep eco preschooler

US producer Little Airplane Productions and entertainment company SeaWorld Kids are working on a 52x11mins toon series.

Conservation-influenced Billy Green Builds! will launch to the international children’s TV market at MIPTV in April. It follows a seven year-old boy who, along with an animal sidekick and a transforming solar-paneled vehicle, travel the world creating environmentally friendly solutions for animals in trouble.

Josh Selig, founder and president, Little Airplane, said: “SeaWorld Kids is doing wonderful work in the area of educating and entertaining young kids about the natural world.  We’re thrilled to be collaborating with them on this bold new animated preschool series.”
