Mid East nets to perform Killer Karaoke

Broadcasters across the Middle East have ordered local versions of Zodiak Rights’ comic singing format Killer Karaoke.

Highways International Productions is producing 13 hour-long minutes episodes of Killer Karaoke to air in Egypt, UAE and Lebanon. These will go out on Al Hayat TV in Egypt, Abu Dhabi Al Ouha in the UAE and MTV in Lebanon after filming commenced recently in Beirut.

In further news, Kazakhstani channel NTV is producing its own version, comprising a 12x60mins season.

Killer Karaoke was initially created as an ‘evil’ adaptation of Zodiak format Sing if You Can by Zodiak USA for TruTV. It is now in 29 territories overall.
