MIPTV 2014: Union signs Luna pre-market

UK distributor Union Media has acquired worldwide distribution rights to Earth to Luna!, a Brazilian preschool toon.

Earth to Luna! is a 52x12mins preschool show following a science-mad girl who treats the Earth as a giant laboratory.

“Earth to Luna! is a wonderful new series to inspire young children about science and discovery and I am delighted to have a chance to bring it to a wider audience around the world,” said Union Media owner Adam Selly.

TV PinGuim will sell the show in the Americas.

A deal for the show, which comes from TV PinGuim, has just sold to Sprout in the US, while TV Brasil, Discovery Kids Latin America and US Hispanic Spanish-language family channel Familia also have rights for local broadcasts.
