Red Arrow ups Axel Boehm

Red Arrow International has upped Axel Boehm to senior VP, sales, Europe.

He takes his new role at the Germany-based distributor immediately.

Boehm joined Red Arrow in 2005 and was previously senior VP, sales CEE, Spain and Italy, as well as head of drama acquisitions.

The appointment follows a reshuffle at the company in the wake of the departure of previous boss Jens Richter, who will join FremantleMedia at the start of next year. Richter left the company on March 25.

Red Arrow subsequently appointed Irina Ignatiew and Henrik Pabst as co-managing directors. In his new role Boehm will report to both execs.

“Centralising all European sales will drive organizational and strategic clarity throughout our group,” said Ignatiew. “We are particularly pleased that we are promoting Axel to this critical role. Axel has been a key player in the company from the start.”
