News brief: Hulu adds Canimals to family

US streaming service Hulu has acquired BRB Internacional’s Canimals to its Hulu Kids line-up.
The 52x7mins is launching in the US thanks to the deal, having initially launched on EBS in South Korea before selling to the links of RAI 1 and Canal+ Family and Teletoon+ in France.
Coproduced by Aardman Animations, Vooz Club and BRB sister prodco Screen 21, the comedy combines animation and live action images to show the adventures of curious little characters in the shape of tin cans.
