Love format will Tear Zig Zag and Gurin Apart

UK and US independent producers Zig Zag and The Gurin Company are joining forces to create a couples in crisis format Love Will Tear Us Apart.

The pair said the format will put couples who are undergoing relationship problems through a stress test. Concerned friends and family nominate couples, ten of whom are then taken to a romantic retreat to ascertain whether they should stay together or separate.

“With our combined track record of game shows and relationship formats, The Gurin Company were an obvious partner for us to collaborate with and Love Will Tear Us Apart is the result of our combined talents.” said Zig Zag CEO Danny Fenton.

“We decided it would be fun and hopefully lucrative to collaborate, and we’re excited about this first venture,” added Gurin. “The relationship space is an important place to play, and we’ve think we have created another global brand here with Love Will Tear Us Apart.”
