DLT nabs STV drama boss
DLT Entertainment has hired Scottish pubcaster STV’s head of drama to take the same role at the UK-US producer-distributor.
Margaret Enefer will take on the new role at the My Family production house, joining later this month. She will focus on original development, adaptations and long-running series for UK and international broadcasters.
She joins a production team that includes John Bartlett (My Family), former ITV entertainment commissioner Michaela Hennessey-Vass, Rude Tube producer Robert Katz and Rohan Acharya (White Van Man).
“Margaret has a proven track record in spotting and selling great original ideas and producing high quality drama content,” said DLT president Don Taffner Jr. “Her wealth of experience working for a variety of both in-house production teams and independent producers makes her the perfect candidate to drive our increase in drama output.”
While at STV, Enefer exec produced dramas such as ITV’s The Poison Tree and the long-running crime procedural Taggart.
