News brief: Chello nets Power up

Chello Central Europe channels in Hungary and Romania have acquired a total of 160 hours of programming from UK-based distributor Power.
The deal comprises 64 titles, including Power coproductions The Day of the Triffids, Casanova and Henry VIII. It also includes crime TV movie collection Mystery Woman.
The shows will go out on Chello’s Film Mania and Film Café channels in Hungay and Romania. “I believe this new line-up of high-end TV productions will please our audiences in Hungary and Romania as well,” said Chello Central Europe’s chief programming officer.
