Lionsgate poaches CBS, ITV Studios sales execs
Lionsgate International has bolstered its ranks by appointing a pair of new sales directors at its London office.
Mark James joins from CBS Studios International, while Fabio Etienne-Tinchant was most recently at ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
James becomes the US studio’s director, sales for central and eastern Europe, while Etienne-Tinchant has taken on the same role for Greece, Turkey, Africa, Middle-East, Spain and Portugal.
James will report to Roberta Ibba-Hartog, who is Lionsgate’s head of TV for the UK, Ireland, CEE and Israel.
James was most recently CBSSI’s sales manager, CEE and Middle East, and was previously NBCUniversal’s channels acquisitions manager for CEE. Tinchant was ITVSGE’s sales director for south east EMEA.
“We have seen an extraordinary growth in Lionsgate TV’s programming output with even more in the pipeline,” said Lionsgate International’s managing director. “We have therefore expanded our London based sales team to reflect this significant increase in our production and future growth.
New Lionsgate series screening at NATPE Europe in Prague this week include Houdini, miniseries Rosemary’s Baby and Manhattan, WGN America’s first scripted series.
