Kids veteran Court joins Brown Bag board
Global kids TV veteran Neil Court has joined the board of Irish animation producer Brown Bag Films.
Court, co-founder of DHX Media predecessor Decode Entertainment, has been advising the Dublin-based prodco since November, and has now formalised the relationship.
Court has also been managing director of Nelvana Enterprises and his own international media consultancy. He is also chairman and co-owner of Peacock Alley, a Canadian reality and scripted prodco, and was non-executive chairman at Manchester-based Factory Transmedia until late last year.
Brown Bag is best known as a producer on series such as Disney’s Doc McStuffins and Henry Hugglemonster, the BBC’s Octonauts and Nickelodeon’s Peter Rabbit.
“My role is to help the company develop its long term strategy while continuing to advise on its owned IP business,” said Court.
