News brief: Nick Jr. returns to Driftwood Bay

Nick Jr. in the UK has commissioned another 52x7mins season of mixed-media preschool animated series Lily’s Driftwood Bay.

The show debuted on the Viacom-owned channel in May this year, and has taken more than 1.5 million viewers to date, according to Nick.

It comes from Northern Ireland’s Sixteen South, and is created entirely from items that have been found washed up on the beach.

It was originally titled Driftwood Bay.
