TV Guide’s Thurlow joins DCP

TV Guide Network’s executive VP of sales strategy and CFO Amy Thurlow has joined Dick Clark Productions, which is expanding internationally, to take on a similar role.

Thurlow will become COO and CFO, based out of DCP’s Santa Monica headquarters and reporting to president Mike Mahan. She joins having most recently been at CBS and Lionsgate joint venture cable channel TVGN.

This comes as DCP, best known as producer of US award ceremony shows and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, targets the international business.

It has launched a joint venture with Israel’s Keshet International and in January hired Mark Rafalowski to lead a new global content arm.

Mahan said Thurlow would “play a vital management role as Dick Clark Productions expands our global television footprint”.
