Ex-Endemol, Warner exec lands at AMC
AMC Networks has appointed former Warner Horizon and Endemol USA exec Drew Brown as its senior VP, production.
Brown will be responsible for all aspects of production and post-production for both the AMC cable network and AMC Studios business.
He will report to executive VP original programming, production and digital content Joel Stillerman, who said: “Drew has deep experience in many genres of television including cable drama, but it is his skills as a problem solver and creative collaborator that make him so valuable.”
While in his previous role at Warner Horizon Television, where he was VP, production, he oversaw shows such as ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles and A&E’s Longmire.
Prior to that, he was head of production for Endemol USA’s digital media division.
AMC Studio’s current slate includes Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul (pictured), spy thriller Turn and Silicon Valley drama Halt & Catch Fire.
