Telemundo strikes Chilean content deal

Chilean broadcaster Chilevision has struck a programming deal with Telemundo.

The sales arm of the US Hispanic channel, Telemundo Internacional, will supply Chilevision with formats and finished programming under the terms of the agreement.

Chilevision will get series including court show Caso Cerrado, which is already popular on the channel, as part of the deal, which takes effect at start-2015.

“This agreement gives us great satisfaction as Telemundo content has maintained a prominent placement on Chilean television in the last ten years,” said Pablo Morales, director of content and production for Chilevision.
