A&E opens Lachey’s Bar

US cable channel A&E has ordered a Leftfield Pictures-produced unscripted series following reality star Nick Lachey as he opens a bar with his brother.

Lachey’s Bar (WT) will follow Nick and Drew Lachey over ten half-hour episodes as they attempt to get the Cincinnati, Ohio bar up and running.

Production begins immediately, with a TX date slated for 2015.

Former singer Lachey was married to pop star Jessica Simpson for four years between 2002 and 2006, a marriage documented through their MTV series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.

He will executive produce Lachey’s Bar alongside Drew Lachey, Leftfield executives Brent Montgomery, David George, Jordana Hochman, Will Nothacker and Jason Hollis, and A&E’s Drew Tappon, Shelly Tatro, Dave Mace and Sean Gottlieb.
