Sky Living buys Stalker from Warner Bros.

Sky Living has continued a busy round of commissions and acquisitions with the pick-up of upcoming US drama Stalker.

The series will be part of broadcast net CBS’ fall schedule. The Kevin Williamson (The Vampire Diaries) show follows a pair of detectives – Maggie Q (Nikita) and Dylan McDermott (Hostages) – investigating stalking incidents.

The show will sit alongside UK pay TV channel Living’s other US acquisitions The Blacklist, Hannibal, Elementary and Criminal Minds when it launches, later this year.

Stalker is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Kevin Williamson’s Outerbanks Entertainment. It is sold internationally by Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, which struck the Sky deal.

Antonia Hurford-Jones, director Sky Living commented: “I am delighted to be adding Stalker to the excellent line-up of quality US drama on the channel. It’s that perfect mix of entertaining and terrifying that Kevin Williamson does so brilliantly.”

Sky Living has announced two other shows this week, drama series The Enfield Haunting and constructed reality series Desi Rascals.
