Turner launches WarnerTV Encore catch-up service
Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific has launched WarnerTV Encore, a catch-up TV service for now TV subscription customers in Hong Kong.
The service went live in the Asian territory today, offering WarnerTV pay customers catch-up programming with a four-day window such as Gotham and The Last Ship for no added charge.
Programmes will be available to view immediately after their linear broadcast debut.
TBS Asia Pacific, which took control of WarnerTV in April, will launch the service in other Asian territories, according to its senior VP and managing director for north Asia and southeast Asia Pacific Phil Nelson.
“WarnerTV Encore offers subscribers a genuine enhancement to their viewing experience. We know that our viewers like the flexibility to watch their favorite shows on their convenience and this catch-up service provides the freedom to choose a time that works for them,” Nelson said.
