Tricon has new Pivot titles for Cannes buyers
Tricon Films & Television is further exploiting its distribution pact with US cable channel Pivot with four new titles for market in Cannes.
Tricon sells Pivot’s original programming internationally, and will head to MIPCOM with doc series Human Resources; Freestyle Love Supreme, an improvised music comedy show; Welcome to Fairfax, which is about street culture; and season two of HITRECORD ON TV!, which is the TV adaptation of actor Jason Gordon-Levitt’s online art and video community platform hitRECord.
Human Resources follows TerraCycle, a company is attempting to “eliminate the idea of waste”, while Freestyle Love Supreme mixes improvised stage shows with impromptu, real-world sketches set in New York.
Welcome to Fairfax (pictured) looks at the LA musicians, fashion designers and entrepreneurs pushing street culture to the world.
