DCD sells Violent Child

DCD Rights has sold Popkorn Television’s documentary My Violent Child to six European broadcasters and an Israeli channel.

TV2 in Norway and Denmark, TVN in Poland, SBS in Finland, Vlaamse Media in Belgium, Infonetwork in Germany and Channel 8 Israel.

The news comes as original broadcaster Channel 5 ordered three more episodes of the show.

“My Violent Child is an often disturbing and yet poignant look at the difficulties some parents face on a daily basis,” said DCD Rights head of sales Rick Baker.

“This is a global trend and we are looking forward to having additional episodes in the series to offer to our international clients who are keen to know more.”
