Ex-PBS digital exec joins US streaming service Acorn
RLJ Entertainment has hired former PBS digital exec Matt Graham as vice president of its digital channel and streaming service Acorn TV.
Graham was previously at the digital division of US publicly funded broadcaster PBS.
In his new Silver Spring-based position, he will replace Jen Linck, who has taken on the newly-created role of VP, marketing strategy, at RLJ.
At PBS Digital Graham was cofounder and senior director of PBS Digital Studios, the web-original programming division of PBS.
Mark Stevens, president of Acorn Brands for RLJ Entertainment, said: “Acorn TV is leading the way in bringing highly entertaining British programming to US audiences, and, with his extensive digital experience, Matt is ideally suited to build on its success.”
Acorn is part of RLJ Entertainment, the US distributor and content company that majority owns Agatha Christie Limited.
