MTG names Scandi content chief

Modern Times Group’s Danish programme director has been promoted to chief content officer for the broadcaster’s free TV channels across Scandinavia.

Morten Mogensen takes on the new post following a six-year stint as programming chief in Denmark.

He joined MTG in 2005 as commissioning editor, before becoming head of in-house/own productions two years later and programme director a year after.

In his new role, he reports to MTG’s executive VP of Scandinavian free TV and radio operations Anders Jensen.
