NATPE adds showrunners to NATPE line-up

NATPE and will bring a range of showrunners and creative talent to its Miami convention for a new conference strand, “Storytellers and the Shaping of Pop Culture”.
Jay Leno will share a session with fellow talkshow host Craig Ferguson. Showrunners and programme makers including Community’s Dan Harmon and doc-maker Morgan Spurlock will each get their own slots as will Def Jam Record creator and media entrepreneur Russell Simmons.
Other highlights of the new track include a three-way session featuring Netflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos, Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz and Breaking Bad’s Vince Gilligan.
Natpe Miami will take place between January 20-22.
