News brief: Proper expands development team

Canadian factual prodco Proper Television has expanded its development team by hiring producer Lisa Gabriele.
She will be director of development, reporting into Proper president Guy O’Sullivan. Another new recruit, former Antica Productions exec Mike Armitage, is also joining as development producer.
Armitage will report to Gabriele, who has produced shows in Canada such as Dragons’ Den and MasterChef Canada: A Holiday Special.
