Red Arrow brings in business affairs boss

Germany-based Red Arrow Entertainment has gone in-house to hire a managing director for business affairs.

Martin Metzger comes across from Red Arrow parent ProSiebenSat.1 Group, where he was most recently VP, production law. He is also MD of ProSiebenSat.1 Artist Management Agency.

Metzger will report to Red Arrow CEO Jan Frouman, who said: “Martin is a terrific lawyer with loads of hands-on experience in production, format licensing, and development – exactly what we want and need within the organisation.”

The news closely follows the departure of Irina Igantiew-Lemke, who stepped down as co-MD of Red Arrow sales arm Red Arrow International towards the end of last year. Henrik Pabst become sole MD as a result.

Red Arrow’s production assets include 13 prodcos around the world, patnerships with the likes of STV Productions in the UK and Mark Burnett- and Heart-owned United Artists Media Group.
