Content ups MacGregor, Ford
Saralo MacGregor and Jonathan Ford have landed improved positions at UK-US content company Content Television.
MacGregor (left) has been named executive VP, acquisitions, development and sales, having previously been EVP, worldwide distribution; and Ford (right) has become EVP, sales and distribution having previously led sales in EMEA and across worldwide on-demand and digital as EVP, digital acquisitions and distribution.
The new positions mean US-based MacGregor is now charged with acquiring and developing content in the US and Canada, overseeing first looks deals with the likes of Caryn Mandabach Productions, and heading up sales to Australia, New Zealand and Japan; and London-based Ford with worldwide sales across the Content Television and Content Digital brands.
Both continue to report to Content Television & Digital president Greg Philips.
Prior to joining Content (fka Fireworks International) in 2001, MacGregor was VP, international sales at NBC International, and also worked at Warner Bros., Turner International and the Samuel Goldwyn Company. Ford joined Content in 2006 from Sony Pictures Television.
