The US broadcast network has also renewed Chicago Fire, which will head into season four, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which is heading into season seventeen and Grimm, which gets a fifth outing.
Sony Pictures Television produces The Blacklist, which NBC is moving to a Thursday 9pm slot this week.
Dick Wolf is behind Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D., both of which are produced by Universal Television and Wolf Films. The same production pair make Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and the procedural is now the longest running drama on US TV.
Fairy tale-inspired Grimm is produced by Universal Television and Hazy Mills Productions.
