Sky Vision’s What Went Down generates sales
More than 60 territories have taken on user-generated content clip show What Went Down since its launch at MIPCOM last year, distributor Sky Vision has said.
The 104×30 factual entertainment show has gone to broadcasters including Fox International Channels in Finland and the Netherlands, Seven Network in Australia, Globosat in Brazil, TV2 in Denmark and Norway, Polsat in Poland, Canada’s Blue Ant Media as well as pan-Asian channel operator Celestial Tiger Entertainment.
The format sees funny, exhilarating and unusual UGC clips from around the world compiled into episode packages.
“What Went Down is a great show as it generates a wide appeal across all demographics,” said Sky Vision’s head of global sales, Leona Connell. “It also fits into a range of time slots, making it a highly versatile title for international schedules.”
