ITV orders deals and discounting series
UK commercial broadcaster ITV has ordered Bargain Fever Britain, a two-part factual series looking behind the scenes at four big discount-based businesses.
The 2x60mins show will look at the characters and business of wholesale giant Costco, car supermarket Motorpoint, footwear chain Shoe Zone and food discounter Approved Food.
The series will also feature customers and bargain hunters about the lengths they will go to in order to make savings.
Cardiff-based Boomerang is making the series for ITV. The producer is part of the Twofour Group and its sales arm, TwoFour Rights, will distribute Bargain Fever Britain internationally.
Andrew O’Connell commissioned the show for ITV.
