CCI, Fremantle Corp in co-distribution pact

Canadian companies CCI Entertainment and The Fremantle Corporation have entered into a strategic co-distribution pact that begins at MIPTV.

CCI Releasing’s drama, lifestyle and factual libraries, including new series such as Real Houses and Cubicle to the Cage, will now go out through the two companies. In total the deal comprises 83 hours.

This comes as CCI switches its focus from production and distribution to production, across various genres.

“We are excited to partner with The Fremantle Corporation on the distribution of both our library content and our current production slate,” said CCI’s co-founder Charles Falzon.

“We look forward to focusing on a very robust and diverse development slate and on new business opportunities,” added CCI’s other founder, Arnie Zipursky.
