Xavi Mas heads to PGS

Kids distributor PGS Entertainment has recruited Xavi Mas and the seasoned sales exec will work out of the company’s new Barcelona office.

Mas will be senior VP, global sales, at PGS, which sells Alvinnn!! and the Chipmunks, Robin Hood: Mischief in Sherwood and Playmobil series Super Four.

He will focus on various territories in his new SVP role. “From now on, after the huge growth PGS has experienced in the last times, I will look after expanding the development of the company in the territories of Central Europe, LatAm and Asia by providing a closer relationship to clients in those areas,” he told contacts.

Mas’ departure from Spanish production and distribution group Motion Pictures was announced earlier this week.

The prodco named a pair of replacements for the long-serving sale and coproductions.
