Guru hires Nick’s Marcus

Canada’s Guru Studio has poached Rachel Marcus from Nickelodeon.
Reporting to Guru’s executive VP, Mary Bredin, she will be development executive working on developing new content, sourcing IP and overall strategic positioning at the Toronto-bases company.
Marcus joins from Nick, where she was posted in New York. At the Viacom-owned network she developed digital games and short-form linear content that drove viewers to Nick.com and Nick Jr.
She begins her role on March 27.
