Hoho taps sales vet to replace Davies
UK children’s indie Hoho Entertainment has tapped a former Target Entertainment, Souther Star Entertainment and Granada exec to become its head of TV sales.
Jayne Pitts (pictured) is joining Hoho Rights, and in the sales chief role will work closely with Hoho joint MD’s Oliver Ellis and Helen Howells to devise and implement presales and coproduction strategy for the firm’s development slate.
She will replace Danielle Davies, who exited the company last year after two years and is now with Playboy TV.
Pitts counts roles at Primetime/RPTA, Southern Star (now part of Endemol Shine International), ITEL and Granada International (now ITV Studios Global Entertainment), 3DD Entertainment and Target on her CV.
London-based Hoho counts Cloudbabies, Everybody Loves a Moose, Abadas, Jeff the Chef, Wind in the Willows: Mole of Mole En and Aaagh!… It’s the Mr. Hell Show on its slate.
