Apprentice hired in Quebec
Canadian indie formats house Media Ranch is planning to bring The Apprentice to screens to Quebec.
The company has acquired rights to the show from United Artists Media Group, the firm formed after MGM acquired Mark Burnett’s prodco, One Three Media.
Burnett produces The Apprentice in the US for ABC. The format has sold to more than 25 territories in total.
Media Ranch is working with branded content agency ZAD Communications to form a business model for a local Quebec version.
