Discovery to play in Churchill’s Toyshop

Discovery has ordered Churchill’s Toyshop from Sky Vision, a special about the British World War II leader’s secret weapons research institute.

The unit devised strange and ingenious weapons that were designed to be used by the Allies against the Nazis.

The 1x60mins special will use archive and drama reconstruction to tell the story of the institute, the weapons it created and how they were used in the field.

Churchill’s Toyshop will be produced by pay TV operator Sky’s production and distribution division Sky Vision. The show will go out on Discovery in the UK and Ireland in late May and Sky Vision will handle international sales thereafter.
