Breton’s Federation poaches Uzan from M6
Pascal Breton’s fast-growing Federation Entertainment Group has hired Lionel Uzan as managing director.
He will start in the newly-created role at the fast-growing France-based producer and distributor in June.
Uzan joins from SND Groupe, the features label for French commercial broadcaster M6, where he was head of acquisitions.
In his new position with Federation, Uzan will supervise the studio’s full production and distribution activities for France, Europe and the US.
As MD, Uzan will report to Breton and supervise Federation’s production and distribution activities in France, Europe and the US.
“He will serve as an integral member of Federation’s management team in helping develop Federation Entertainment’s ever-growing portfolio of premium primetime series for both Europe and the US from our studio’s prestigious roster of producers,” said Breton.
Federation has got several projects away since launching last year. It making Marseilles for Netflix and coproducing Lucky Luciano with Mediaset. It is also working with Tim Kring on a new drama series, and is moving into animation and has lined up its first toon projects.
