NATPE announces Prague newbies
NATPE says a raft of new companies are signed up for its flagship European event, which takes place in Prague next month.
The roster of 120 companies in town selling programming, from 25 countries, includes about 20 first-time exhibitors.
The new attendees include Gaumont International Television, HoHo Rights, Onza Distribution, Orange Smarty, Saban Brands and the Shanghai Media Group.
Several US studios will also hold screenings at NATPE Europe including CBS Studios International, NBC Universal Television Distribution and Warner Bros. NBCU’s Spanish-language distributor Telemundo Internacional will also hold a screening event at NATPE Europe.
The CEE-focused market runs from June 22 to June 25 and NATPE CEO Rod Perth said: “The timing of our event offers what is often the first opportunity for many representatives of TV stations, cable and satellite companies and SVOD providers to view the latest programs coming from Hollywood and the rest of the world; as well as internationally showcasing locally created programming and formats.”
