Red Arrow gives Baker global drama role
Red Arrow International has appointed Henrik Pabst and James Baker to its management board and given the latter an expanded role overseeing drama.
They will sit on the board alongside existing members, company CEO Jan Frouman, CFO Nina Hirsch, COO Michael Schmidt and business affairs boss Martin Metzger.
Baker, the former UK boss of Current TV and controller of Sky One, will have an expanded role, taking on responsibility for Red Arrow’s global scripted strategy. He was previously managing director of Red Arrow’s UK operations and will continue in that role as well as overseeing drama.
Irina Ignatiew-Lemke had run the scripted distribution side of Red Arrow International, before taking a co-managing director role following the exit of Jens Richter. She exited at the end of last year and Pabst now oversees all distribution activity at the firm.
Jan Frouman (right) said: “Henrik and James are consummate group players. They blend enormous expertise with a genuine group-mindset – and always without ego.”
He added: “Moreover, expanding James’ role is a key step to building upon all of the scripted production and partnership momentum we have generated in the US, UK and beyond.”
