ITV orders Initial’s Almost Impossible Game Show
UK commercial broadcaster ITV has ordered The Almost Impossible Game Show, a new physical gameshow from Endemol Shine prodco Initial.
Billed as a comedy gameshow, the series will have ten contestants taking on hilarious challenges. The participants have 50 chances to complete five challenges.
The 6x60mins show will go out later this year on ITV2. Endemol Shine Group will sell the format internationally.
The Almost Impossible Game Show was commissioned by Angela Jain, ITV’s director of digital platforms. She said: “The show is silly, fun, never predictable and thoroughly entertaining. Perfect for ITV2.”
Initial managing director of Initial, Nick Samwell-Smith, added: “This utterly absurd and completely anarchic format which features some of the most ludicrous games that our evil, twisted creative team could come up with.”
