NCIS remains ‘most watched’ TV series

US procedural NCIS remains the most-watched drama series in the world, according to new research.

Eurodata TV Worldwide measure the drama viewing figures across 200 territories and crowned NCIS the most-watched for the second year running.

The series, which has spawned several spin-offs, airs on broadcast network CBS in the US and is distributed by CBS Studios International.

In the US, the series, which is produced by Belisarius Productions in association with CBS Television Studios, has just finished its twelfth outing.

NCIS was given the most-watched drama award at the Monte Carlo TV Festival, which is taking place in the principality this week.
