Parasyte spreads to Adult Swim

Anime series Parasyte – the Maxim is heading to US cable channel Adult Swim.

The series will join Adult Swim’s Toonami anime block this October after a Turner Broadcasting System scored a deal with Sentai Filmworks.

Parasyte originally broadcast on Nippon TV in Japan, having been adapted from Hitoshi Iwaaki’s sci / fi-horror comic by Madhouse.

Adult Swim, which targets young adults, shares channel space with Cartoon Network.

Distributor Sentai oversees a library of anime titles such as Akame ga Kill!, No Game No Life and High School of the Dead.
