Insight gets Rimer for international

Jane Rimer has come on board as a staffer and taken on a new international role at the Toronto-based producer and distributor Insight.

Former FremantleMedia North America senior VP of development and programming Rimer will push Insight’s international business in the new role. She has been consulting for Insight, working on distribution, coproduction and first-look deals and will retain responsibility for these areas. Having come on as a staffer, Rimer will shut her consultancy business.

Rimer will expand the development team, the prodco said, as well as seeking to exploit Insight’s content on OTT and other new platforms.

She will report to CEO John Brunton and COO Barbara Bowlby in the new role.
