News brief: Boomerang boards Dinosaur Train

The Latin American feed of Turner Broadcasting kids channel Boomerang has acquired Dinosaur Train from The Jim Henson Company.
The show, which has been licensed into more than 200 territories globally, will launch on Boomerang Latin America on August 10.
“First introduced to audiences in Latin America five years ago, Dinosaur Train has demonstrated tremendous appeal to young viewers with its winning combination of dinosaurs and trains presented through fun adventures with engaging characters,” said Henson’s executive VP, global distribution Richard Goldsmith.
