Boomerang poaches Outline’s Baldwin
Wales-based producer Boomerang has hired Outline Productions executive Shona Baldwin as director of development.
Reporting to managing director Simon Rees, Baldwin will be charged with building the Posh Pawn firm’s factual and factual entertainment slates.
Baldwin has been with indie Outline for the past two years as head of its factual and entertainment division, and prior to that was head of format development at Studio Lambert, where she helped the create and produce shows such as Gogglebox and NBC game show Million Second Quiz.
Baldwin began her career at ITV Studios. She joins Boomerang next month.
“Shona joining the Boomerang team marks an important step for the company as we continue to build our fast-growing factual slate,” said Rees. “Her exceptional track record in creating hit factual formats will prove invaluable as we look to expand and diversify. Shona will be a great addition to the Boomerang team as we look forward to an exciting future ahead.”

Boomerang is part of TwoFour Group, the UK-based producer and distributor that ITV is currently buying.
