News brief: Turner ups TNT biz affairs exec

Turner Broadcasting System has promoted Patrick Kelly to executive VP, business affairs for its US cable channels TNT and TBS.

Kelly has been with Turner Entertainment since 2002 and now oversees all day-to-day deal making related to original programming, and coproductions between the channels and Turner’s international businesses.

In the new post, he reports to Sandra Dewey, president of business affairs at TNT and TBS Productions.
