Broadcasters buys World’s Fattest Man follow-up
A raft of international broadcasters have acquired World’s Fattest Man – the Journey Continues, the follow-up to popular factual one-off World’s Fattest Man – A Love Story.
US cable net TLC has picked up the special, which is shot in 4K and made by Nevision and Hakuna Productions.
Star Content distributes the shows, which follows Paul Mason, once heaviest person in the world, as he falls in love and continues to strive to lose weight.
Other channels that have licensed the new show include RTL (Holland), TVNZ (New Zealand), Nelonen Media (Finland) and TV4 (Sweden).
James Cabourne, executive chairman at Nevision said: “These two specials following the incredible journey of Paul Mason have a universal appeal and a deeply human theme.
“We are delighted to partner with Hakuna Productions to chronicle Paul’s extraordinary experiences and share them with a global audience.”
