UKTV goes for Gold Christmas makeover
UKTV is giving its Gold and Good Food channels a Christmas makeover.
The Scripps and BBC Worldwide-owned channel operator will rebrand the channels Christmas Gold and Christmas Food throughout December to coincide with the seasonal festivities.
Both channels will have new on-air rebranding and their name changes will also be reflected in the EPGs of the platforms that carry the digital nets.
The rebranding takes effect on December 1 and runs through to January 3.
Christmas Food will run its annual 25 Days of Christmas programming schudule in an earlier timeslot this year, with the content starting at 7pm.
Gold’s general manager, Steve North said: “By renaming the channel to Christmas Gold and extending our themed programming in December, we’re providing the perfect destination for viewers to put their feet up and enjoy their favourite shows with family and friends.”
