FX promotes programming trio
US cable channel FX Networks has promoted Gina Balian, Nicole Clemens and Jonathan Frank to executive VP level.
Balian has been named EVP of limited series, Clemens to EVP of series development and Frank to EVP of current series.
All three will report to FX president of original programming Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, who described the trio as “without question, three of the best executives in the business”.
FX, which counts Fargo (pictured) and American Crime Story on its current slate, is in development on series including Taboo, which is with actor Tom Hardy, and Noah Hawley/Marvel Television project Legion.
Balian will continue to oversee strategic development and production of limited series, having joined the Fox Television Group-owned FX in 2012.
Clemens, who also joined FX three years ago, continues to oversee new drama and comedies; while Frank, who oversees day-to-day production of originals including American Horror Story, continuing with his duties.
Frank joined FX in 2008 and has been senior VP since 2011.
