New All3 America chief pacts with ex-client
All3Media America has signed an overall development deal with unscripted company Bogner Content after the latter’s deal with Relativity Television ended.
The deal brings together for the second time All3 America CEO Greg Lipstone and Bogner CEO Oliver Bogner (pictured).
Lipstone previously served as Bogner’s agent at ICM Partners before taking on his post as chief executive of All3Media’s US arm earlier this year.
The pact will see Bogner moving to All3’s LA headquarters, developing and producing unscripted programming for broadcast and cable channels together.
Bogner is behind shows such as Kim of Queens, My Five Wives and Little Weddings. Its 22-year-old chief executive Bogner, has previously worked with FremantleMedia North America and T Group among others.
Bogner previously had a deal with Relativity TV, which is soon to rebrand after its management secured new financial backing and broke free from financially-troubled parent firm Relativity Media.
His father, Jonathan, with whom he founded Bogner Entertainment Television in 2009, serves as head of production and development.
“Oliver is an extremely talented producer who has found great success at an early age,” said Lipstone. “I look forward to this new chapter in our relationship.”
“My agent just became my boss, and I couldn’t be more thrilled,” said Bogner. “Everyone at All3 is extremely passionate about creating the best content possible, and I am excited for my company to join the team.”
Lipstone succeeded Eli Holzman as All3 boss in August.
