News brief: Shomi takes Sony’s Art of More

Canadian streaming service Shomi has acquired Dennis Quaid and Kate Bosworth drama series The Art of More.

The show, which is set in the world of high-end auction houses, was made for Sony’s digital Crackle service in the US and is distributed by Sony Pictures Television, which struck the Shomi deal.

Sony launched The Art of More at MIPCOM last month and has sold it to OSN in the Middle East and DSmart in Turkey.
