Foxtel, UKTV chart NASA’s Greatest Achievements
Foxtel in Australia and Britain’s UKTV are among prebuyers of upcoming space documentary NASA’s 10 Greatest Achievements.
Al Arabiya in the Middle East has also bought the show, which goes out in 2016 and is from UK indie Free Spirit Film & Television. Espresso Media International sells the show internationally and closed the new deals.
The 2x52mins doc looks at NASA’s greatest achievements in space over five decades, from the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969 to the Mars Pathfinder in 1997.
“Having signed pre-sales with top broadcasters from a 10-minute trailer alone shows us NASA’s 10 Greatest Achievements is going to hit the mark with audiences,” said David Hooper, managing director of Espresso Media International. “We’ve worked with Free Spirit on a number of our space programmes and look forward to sharing the finished film.”
